This is part of my story. A sacred space of mine.
I firmly believe that God will use the source of our greatest pain as one of our greatest ministries in our lives if we let Him; this that for me. I hope that in sharing this part of my story, this sacred space of mine, this pain of mine, that someone will find help, comfort, and steps towards healing here.
If you find yourself here because infant loss has touched your life or the life of someone you know, first, I extend my sincerest sympathies and give you the biggest of hugs, and, second, I hope you will find this page to help guide you or someone you love through the grieving process.
In 2010, our first child, our little girl, entered heaven’s gates after a short 36 days with us. Her name is Hailey. (You can read the details of her/my/our story that I wrote after her death and shared on the website Be Not Afraid here.) My heart and life have forever changed because of Hailey, and I seek to support those mothers who find themselves a part of the bereaved community.
Two weeks after my daughter died my father passed away from cancer, the day before my 25th birthday.

Gifts for the Bereaved:
Bottle of Tears – This company’s inspiration is Psalm 56:8, and their company tagline reads: “Mailing hope to those who need it most as a reminder that they are not forgotten and are deeply loved.” How beautiful, right? They sell gorgeous vintage bottles, jewelry, prints, and more–and are very reasonably priced.
Laurelbox – “Designed to nourish a woman’s heart after loss.” Beautiful, thoughtful bereavement gifts and items; however, they are a bit on the expensive side.
Project Sweet Peas / Forever My Sweet Pea – Bereavement / memory boxes and gift items for families who have lost a baby. The items range from free to a minimal cost; runs on donations. Send inquires to firstname.lastname@example.org
